GalopSport.dk was founded in August 2000 with the vision to innovate and explore new ways of serving the horse racing industry in the then-new era of online communication.
I grew up a mile from Klampenborg Racecourse on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
During high school I assisted the Danish Jockey Club with yearling sales catalogues, racing annuals and editorial writing for the official Scandinavian Racing Magazine.
From 2001 to 2007 I worked as Press and Marketing Executive at Klampenborg Racecourse, founding and directing the popular “Irish Day at the Races” and co-inventing the racecard “Galoppen”.
I was co-owner and co-breeder of Tigress Eleven, winner of the 2011 Danish Derby, co-breeder of Malekha, winner of the 2020 Danish Oaks and 2021 Danish Breeders’ Cup.
My business has also included jockey management – working with leading domestic and international riders winning all 15 Classics and several Group races throughout Scandinavia.
I act as bloodstock consultant to trainers, breeders, pinhookers and race horse owners.
Since 1997 I have run Scandinavia’s leading racing website – GalopSport.com – covering news and background stories from Scandinavian and international racing.
